Bio
Jaimee Bowman has been an athletic trainer for the Pioneers since 2017. Her primary sport responsibilities are Women's Soccer, Cross County/ Track & Field, and Baseball.
Bowman serves as a faculty member, committee member, and mentor for the Spartanburg Regional SMI Athletic Training Residency Program. In this role, she assists with curriculum development, course instruction, and mentoring athletic training residents within the program. She is also a site mentor for the SMI Sport Physical Therapy Residency.
With special interests in rehabilitation, nutrition, and sports performance, Jaimee earned her Performance Enhancement Specialist (PES) certification through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM). She is a member of the South Carolina Athletic Trainers’ Association (SCATA) and the National Athletic Trainers’ Association (NATA).
Originally from South Charleston, West Virginia, she earned a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from the University of Charleston in 2014. She then worked as a certified graduate assistant at South Harrison High School while earning her Post-Professional Master of Science in Athletic Training at West Virginia Wesleyan College. Bowman currently resides in Spartanburg with her husband, Jeremy, and their daughter, Amelia.
