SMC Track & Field Sends Duo to Lenoir-Rhyne Last Chance

Hickory, NC – Spartanburg Methodist College junior Ryan Hunter and freshman Dante Hudnall competed Saturday at the Lenoir-Rhyne Last Chance.

Hunter posted a time of 32:25.69 in the event, finishing just over a minute shy of his personal record. Hudnall also turned in a strong performance, clocking a time of 37:30.80 to become the fourth-fastest performer in program history.

Qualifiers for the 2026 NAIA Outdoor Track and Field Championships will be announced in the coming days. The national meet is scheduled for May 20-22 in Asheville.
