SMC Men's Cross Country Takes Part in Live in Lou Classic
LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The Spartanburg Methodist College men's cross country team competed in the Live in Lou Classic at E.P. "Tom" Sawyer State Park on Saturday, placing 13th among collegiate teams.
Junior Ryan Hunter continued to be a bright spot for the Pioneers in 2025, leading the team with a sixth-place overall finish — third among collegiate competitors — in a time of 25:56.3 on the 8k course.
Next for SMC was Dante Hudnall, who finished in 28:47.8 (77th), improving his personal record by 13 seconds. Also for the Pioneers were Omarion Ocampo-Rios in 31:19.7 (133rd) and Matthew Radford, who set a personal best by more than a minute with a time of 32:15.7 (140th).
