Pioneers Hold Steady in Ninth at AAC Championships
The Spartanburg Methodist College women's golf team remains in ninth place after the second round of the 2026 AAC Women's Golf Championship at Governors Towne Club in Acworth, Georgia.
SCAD Atlanta, one of four teams ranked in the national top 25, built an eight-stroke lead after posting a 300 on Tuesday. The Bees sit at 613 (300-313) overall, ahead of No. 21 Truett McConnell, which has recorded a 621 (314-307).
SCAD Atlanta is led by individual leader Amanda Jurdander, the nation's No. 6 golfer, who holds a two-stroke advantage with a 147 (+3, 74-73).
For the Pioneers, Adeline Todd and Isabella Marz lead the team and are tied for 33rd with a 191. Marz paced SMC with an 87 on Tuesday, highlighted by five pars, while Todd carded a 93 with four pars.
Melanie Meredith is next for the Pioneers, sitting in 37th place with a 195 (94-101), while Tinsley McDaris is 47th with a 229 (121-108).
Final-round tee times for Wednesday have not yet been determined.
