SMC Women’s Golf Claims Fincastle Intercollegiate Title
Bluefield, Va. – With a pair of golfers on the All-Tournament Team, the Spartanburg Methodist College women's golf team won the 2025 Fincastle Intercollegiate after posting a 36-hole total of 708 (+148, 346-362) for an 11-stroke victory.
In Tuesday's final round, Isabella Marz shot her second-straight round of 85 for a 170 (+30) to share individual title honors with Meadow Ciccarella of JWU Charlotte and Caroline Tucker of Mars Hill. She was joined on the all-tournament team by Melanie Meredith, who posted her second-straight round of 87 for a 174 (+34) and a share of fourth-place honors.
Also for SMC, Adeline Todd finished tied for sixth with a 175 (+35, 83-92), Gracelyn Toler was tied for 10th with a 189 (91-89) and Tinsley McDaris was 16th with a 260 (+120, 126-134).
