SMC Women's Golf Finishes Sixth at Island Pointe Intercollegiate

The Spartanburg Methodist College women's golf team moved up to sixth place in the final round of the Island Pointe Intercollegiate on Friday. The Pioneers posted a two-day total of 769 (390–379).

The Pioneers were led by Adeline Todd, who moved up three spots to finish 16th. Todd posted a +35 (179, 92–87) and recorded seven pars in the tournament.

She finished one place ahead of teammate Isabella Marz, who placed 17th with a +36 (180, 89–91) and nine pars.

Melanie Meredith and Gracelyn Toler shared 34th place after each shot a 205 (+61). Rounding out the SMC lineup, Tinsley McDaris finished 41st with a 233 (+91).
