SMC Women’s Golf Finishes Tied for Eighth at 2026 AAC Championship
The Spartanburg Methodist College women's golf team finished in a tie for eighth place with Bryan (TN) at the 2026 Appalachian Athletic Conference Women's Golf Championship at the Governors Towne Club in Acworth, Georgia.
The Pioneers posted a 54-hole total of 1209 (417-389-403). No. 6 SCAD Atlanta led wire-to-wire to capture the team title, finishing 22 strokes ahead of runner-up No. 21 Truett McConnell. SCAD Atlanta was paced by individual medalist Amanda Jurander, who carded a 222 (74-73-75) to win by three strokes over teammate Holly Lau, who finished at 225 (78-74-73).
Three of SMC's four golfers improved their position in Wednesday's final round.
Adeline Todd led the Pioneers, moving up two spots to finish 29th with a 282 (98-93-91). Isabella Marz placed 31st with a 287 (104-87-96), while Melanie Meredith climbed three spots to finish 33rd with a 291 (94-101-96). Tinsley McDaris rounded out the lineup, finishing 46th with a 349 (121-108-120).
The 2025–26 Appalachian Athletic Conference Women's Golf All-Conference team and postseason awards have yet to be announced by conference officials.
