Dr. Kevin Rhodes serves as the Title IX Coordinator at Spartanburg Methodist College, where he plays a central role in promoting campus safety, equity, and awareness around interpersonal violence and prevention. In this capacity, he plans and oversees a range of educational initiatives, including events such as “Sexual Assault Awareness, Prevention, and Resources” and “Healthy Relationship/Interpersonal Violence” sessions.

Rhodes consistently organizes timely and relevant programming for the SMC community. For instance, in April 2025, he led an awareness campaign—including workshops on healthy relationships, bystander intervention, and resources—to mark Sexual Assault Awareness Month . In fall 2023, he arranged a session focused on relationship violence education, encouraging students and staff to explore complex issues surrounding dating relationships .
