SMC Athletics Posts Strong Academic Semester with 165 on Honor Roll and 63 Perfect 4.0s

Spartanburg Methodist College continues to excel both athletically and academically, with 165 Pioneers earning Athletic Director’s Honor Roll recognition for the 2026 spring semester. The honor roll recognizes student-athletes who achieve a semester GPA of 3.25 or higher. Academic success was further highlighted by 65 student-athletes who earned a perfect 4.0 GPA, while 11 programs finished the semester with a team GPA above 3.0.

“Our student-athletes continue to set a high standard for what it means to be a Pioneer,” said Athletic Director Megan Aiello. “Their commitment to academic success reflects the same discipline and competitiveness they display in their sports. We are incredibly proud of the work they put in every day, and we will continue to support their growth both in the classroom and in competition.”
