SPARTANBURG, S.C. – On August 23, Life University defeated the Spartanburg Methodist College volleyball team 25-19, 25-16, 25-20.
Friday was a chance to avenge that loss for the Pioneers, who entered the match on a two-match winning streak and having won 11 of its last 12 game at Bridges Arena. The Pioneers continued its winning efforts with a 19-25, 30-28, 25-17, 25-17 win over the Eagles of Life.
With the win, Spartanburg Methodist raises its record to 10-10; the loss dops Life to 10-6 on the season.
