Romeo Brown Named AAC Men's Indoor Track Athlete of the Week
SPARTANBURG, S.C. — Spartanburg Methodist College junior Romeo Brown was named the Appalachian Athletic Conference Men’s Track Athlete of the Week on Monday. Brown earned third-place honors at the Tryon Banked College Invitational with a time of 6.86, competing against athletes from NCAA Division I, II, III, and NAIA programs.
The Newberry, S.C., native heads into the final month of the indoor season with the AAC’s fastest time in the 60 meters and shares the conference’s top mark in the 200 meters.
