Bio
Kennedy Dunnings was named the head women’s soccer coach at Spartanburg Methodist College on March 5, 2026. She spent the 2025 season as an assistant coach, helping the Pioneers reach the quarterfinals of the Appalachian Athletic Conference Women’s Soccer Tournament. That season, the program earned three selections to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team, 12 honorees on the AAC All-Academic Team, and a second team All-AAC recognition for sophomore goalkeeper Ava Wilson.
Before entering the coaching profession, Dunnings was an NCAA Division I standout at North Carolina State (2024) and Radford University (2019–2023). She appeared in 69 collegiate matches, making 58 starts, and served as a consistent anchor on the defensive backline. She earned all-conference honors as both a sophomore and a junior.
Dunnings has also mentored student-athletes through NCAA leadership conferences, Team IMPACT, and campus service programs. She brings a strong background in leadership, communication, and player development, and is committed to investing in the holistic growth of student-athletes—athletically, academically, personally, and through faith—while contributing to the continued success of the Pioneers.
A native of Virginia Beach, Virginia, Dunnings was a standout at Kellam High School. She holds a bachelor’s degree in exercise science with a minor in sport management and is currently pursuing her Master of Business Administration.
