JaiDah Liebert and Destiny Middleton Earn Second Team All-CAC Honors

SPARTANBURG, S.C. – Spartanburg Methodist College women’s basketball teammates JaiDah Liebert and Destiny Middleton were named second team all-Continental Athletic Conference as announced by conference officials on Thursday.

In 25 games, Liebert has averaged 13.3 points, 3.7 rebounds and 0.4 assists per game. She has made 40.9% of her shots from the field. In nine conference games, Liebert upped her averages to 15.7 points and 4.9 rebounds per game for the Pioneers.

In 25 games, Middleton has averaged 12.8 points, 5.8 rebounds and 2.0 assists per game. Against conference teams, she is averaging 14.1 points and 5.7 rebounds per game.

Teammate Zy Bell was the Champion of Character recipient for SMC.

All three have played a key role for the first year NAIA program as they helped the lead the Pioneers to a berth in the Continental Athletic Conference Tournament.
