Bio
Blake Jackson is in his second season as the head men's basketball coach at Spartanburg Methodist College.
In his first season, Jackson led the Pioneers to the finals of the Continental Athletic Conference (CAC) Men's Basketball Tournament. The Pioneers finished 12-16 in their inaugural NAIA season, averaging 84.6 points per game. SMC was powered by the standout play of Bryan Bayonne, a six-time CAC Player of the Week, First Team All-CAC selection, and the CAC Player of the Year. Bayonne also earned NAIA Third Team All-American honors. Off the court, six Pioneers were named to the Athletic Director's Honor Roll for the Spring 2025 semester.
Jackson joined SMC after spending the 2023-24 season as an assistant coach at Keiser University in West Palm Beach, Florida. With the Seahawks, he helped guide the program to an 18-11 overall record, including an 8-6 mark in the Sun Conference. He was actively involved in player development, implementing offensive and defensive schemes, and preparing game strategies. His efforts contributed to Keiser’s NAIA National Tournament appearance and produced both the Sun Conference Player of the Year (Vincent Miszkiewicz) and the Sun Conference Freshman of the Year (Calvin Sirmans).
Before his time at Keiser, Jackson served as an assistant coach at Coastal Alabama North Community College in Monroeville, Alabama, and as both assistant coach (2019–20) and interim head coach (2020–21) at Macomb Community College. He also spent five seasons on the coaching staff at NCAA Division I Bethune-Cookman University in Daytona Beach, Florida.
