Altman Earns AAC Academic and Champion of Character Honors

SPARTANBURG, S.C. — The Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) recently announced its 2025 Women’s Cross Country All-Academic and Champions of Character teams, with Spartanburg Methodist College’s Anna Altman earning recognition on both lists.

A native of Conway, S.C., Altman was named to the AAC All-Academic Team and the AAC Champions of Character Team. To qualify for All-Academic honors, student-athletes must be a sophomore, junior, senior, or graduate student with a cumulative grade-point average of 3.25 or higher.

Altman was also selected to the Champions of Character Team after being nominated by her coach for best exemplifying the NAIA’s five core values: integrity, respect, responsibility, servant leadership, and sportsmanship.
