Romeo Brown Earns CAC Track Athlete of the Week for a Fourth Time

SPARTANBURG, S.C. – Spartanburg Methodist College sophomore Romeo Brown claimed his fourth Continental Athletic Conference Men's Track Athlete of the Week honor on Monday.

Brown recorded a pair of season-best performances at the Berry Field Day Invite. His winning time of 21.11 seconds in the 200-meter dash ranks 12th in the NAIA this season. He also finished third in the 100-meter dash with a time of 10.57 seconds, competing against a strong field representing colleges across the sports landscape.

Both marks are NAIA "B" qualifying marks and the fastest in the Continental Athletic Conference this season, as Brown and the Pioneers prepare to return to action at the CAC Championships on Monday, April 21.
